|  Jabbasport Remaps Sorry if this has been answered before: are Jabba's remaps switchable? eg between performance and stock? Also, how are they 'saved'? eg if I have my vRS remapped and the dealer (somehow) remaps it back to stock what happens then? I would like my car remapped but would also like to be able to take it back to the stock map temporarily for services and MOTs etc. Thanks! |

| Re: Jabbasport Remaps Not switchable. 1.8T has a boost controller which control boost between 2 maps. Nothing for diesels.

| Re: Jabbasport Remaps Thats true, we do not do a boost controller for the diesels  The only way that the remap can be taken off of the car by a dealer is if for some reason you have to have a new ECU, or if they do a full update on the ECU!!!!!!! If either of these situations were to occure we would put your remap back in for you for free of course.  We also keep you standard file on system, so if you ever want it putting back to standard we can do that for you too  hope this helps, Luke

| Re: Jabbasport Remaps A remap shouldn't void your warranty anyway - AFAIK the only way they can refuse to fix something because of the remap is if they cannot get a printout from the ECU telling them how the car has been driven and what may have caused the problem? This was the case with my lotus anyway.. |
