Skoda Fabia MkII 1.9tdi (105bhp)

Hey I was just wondering whether Jabba sport have tuned any of the new MkII fabia 1.9 tdi's with the 103/105bhp engines yet? If you have I would be interested to see some figures if it is at all possible. It is interesting to note that although the 1.9 tdi 105hp is meant to be the same as that in the golf mkV, the golf is always specified as having 184Ib/ft of torque when the fabia is labelled as having 177Ib/ft. I thought this to be slightly strange and wondered if you could clear it up?

hummm didnt know that one, could possibly be a slightly tamed down map as standard.
the setting files are the same ast in the VW caddy van, and we have done plenty of those, so it shouldnt be a problem.....

i will have to check power figures tomorow for you though, as im off work ill today

Cheers for that Luke. It does seem slightly strange to me as the difference is only 7Ib/ft so hardly really worth it. You never know it might be a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing within the VAG and they might both be the same in reality! Just curious! Also do you know if the pd130 turbo that is standard in the fabia vRS can be fitted to this engine in the MkII?

not too sure on the turbo, i would have to check with michael when he comes off the rolling road this afternoon.
Just checked on the power though and it would go to about 140-145bhp with a custom map on the standard turbo.
