Slight Fiddling...and costings!

Hey!

I am looking at doing a couple of bits to my Fabia vRS, and wondered if you would help me out with a costing for all of the work to be done by yourselves

Looking for the Rear ARB, the Eibach Springs, a Generic Remap and if you could supply and fit a PD160 intake with a Green filter.

I would love them all to be done, but obviously, it does depends on how money is...and how much more I am going to need to save over the coming months or so.

Can you help?!

Hi Matt,

Yes thats fine, I have got some prices for you.

Rear ARB; £210inc vat
Eibach Springs; £150inc vat
PD160; £75inc vat
Green filter; £38inc vat
Parts total; £473inc vat

We would fit the filter and PD160 free of charge, So the cost of fitting the springs and ARB would be £158inc vat

The Generic remap we can do for £337inc vat
We would also recomend the tracking after the springs, which is £60

So all in the cost would be £1028inc vat

ok, thats lovely! I might cancel the PD160 and green filter, and have a go at fitting them myself at some point...depending on the difficulty, the rest seems ok. Just need to find lotsa £££ and go from there.

Wabey, to help you save a tad bit of money, tracking, or an alignment isn't neccessary after just springs.

Not 100% correct.

As a car is lowered the steering geometry changes, toe will be altered by lowering so should be corrected by wheel alignment.

when previously lowering cars, I have had the wheel alignment checked, so it is best to be on the safe side.

The most likely work to be done looks as though it will be the springs, ARB and the PD160 pipe and filter..which, If i have done my sums correctly adds to £691.

Will know in the next week/few weeks if I have the money available to get it done...then I shall get it booked in.


The Remap will have to wait until I have saved a bit more!!
