Good Service.....but!

I had my octy vRS serviced at JKM and am ery happy with the work. This included replacing the discs and pads all round with some honest advice from Kate. Thanks again Kate!

However, since this happened (about 6 weeks ago) I have had a buzzing noise at 2500 rpm it dissapears after 2600 rpm and does not affect performance. Any suggestion as to what they did to make this happen???

Sounds like a loose engine cover or air filter housing cover or something... Probably something dead simple.

It's been ages. But are you still happy to have a listen to the Vrs, it's still making the same noise and I would be grateful if someone could just put their ear in and have a listen. You have my colleagues car with you today (the golf with the ECU fault!) and I may be bringing her in to collect it later, will someone be around? Also you did the brakes and the back ones creak, alot, is that normal?

No problems, just pop in and we will take a look. The brakes may need cleaning and/or adjusting which will need a ramp, but ill get the guys to have a listern and we can book it in from there if needed
