| just rechecked my car on oilshop torque should be 200 at 3500rpm. is the fact i got 153 torque today a sign the car needs to loosen up or is there a problem? |

| Good to meet everyone today and thanks for organising (and inviting me!) Happy that at 1,300 miles the SuperChips map seems fairly accurate. Running TESCO boggo 95 juice: 200.3 vs 201 BHP (claimed) [203 vs 204 PS] = 0.5% err 310 lbft vs 319 lbft (clamed) = 3% err Once the engine has loosened up a bit I am sure this will improve aswell. On the down side, cheezemonkhai threw a spanner in the works by showing 166 BHP on an apparently utterly standard PD140 - git ![]() Although it has been noted he did disappear for an inordinate length of time just before his run - enough time to drop a bigger engine in there? - I think a Steward's Enquiry may be needed ![]() PS - thanks to Stu for the electrics/trim help. This PM I completed the Road Angel fit - will be updating the 12v/0v thread when I get time to take some photos.

| Ender, I hope your not dissapointed with your results. It looks positive, that remapped MK1 Octavia's don't make much more than 210hp when remapped and faily modified too but it's the way the car drives on the road more than anything. Some graphs will show 230-240hp. And there just pure lies. JKM have got a very good Dyno. Some very good results. Nice one Stu. |

| Enjoyable day even though I rolled up rather late, shame I missed Jasons run as I was quite looking forward to that but it sounds as though he has achieved a well sorted car despite many people being scheptical when he started the project As for mine it needs to go back to the doctors !! Jim said if just didnt feel as crisp as last time he ran it & the figure was certainly down on the previous run, Ok he forgot to turn the air con off but I doubt that saps 20 bhp. I had a few niggles on the Furball & Im wondering now if the problems were more than just relays. Hopefully I can get it given the once over in the next few weeks.

| Well, yet another good day at JKM. Nice to meet a few more people and to see what effect the dragon digital tuning box had. In round figures, its +19hp and +63lbs ft. All for £47 2nd hand off eBay .................... Its all about the torque on the road, the car absolutely flies in comparison to standard trim. Put the cruise control on and it simply rolls along uphill or down dale it just keeps the pace, with 4th and 5th gear in reserve to dispense with anyone who gets in the way. Though if anything it may have too much peak torque as the dmf protests every now and again, but I've learnt to drive round it now. Just a shame I've sold the car!! |

I think 206 is near the mark and 240 torque i was chuffed with TBH, on the road in the real world its a very fast car, i think where it beats most cars is in its nice progressive delivery of the power, like the new honda VTEC me mate has, i beat him all the time in str8 runs, so the map from Impossible is good in that respect, also i dont think my car is anywhere near mapped to breaking point and thats good to know. I have a Supra in my workshop and that car is the stupid power sunday car or will be when its finished, my MK1 is an everyday driver and PROVEN to be very rapid at it. the only bad thing is I have to amend my BHP figure now, im thinking about some more mods to my VRS like a new manifold/FMIC/IHI but its a juggaling between the octy and the supra, I dont want to ruin the Octy making it silly powerful YET lol. Nice to see everyone.

| They normally go out as you drive off and the system sees all the wheels moving in the right direction and speed.

| Mine went out in the end, but it took 2 drives and a period of standing still before they finally did. I was getting worried they'd need a vagcom reset but thankfully they didn't. ![]()
