gt30 is supposed to spool really quickly on these motors. The lag compared to the ko4 will act as your traction control LOL.

Something I'd love to have if i could afford it!

Ko4 is very appealing for oem looks and delivery though

As you already know from Arin Harry, the power delivery is awesome it looks good on a graph, drives even better.

Any chance of doing some videos of your car?

How about the speedo to show the acceleration?

Make sure you perform the filming on a private road though .

If you could do that, it would be mega.

Cheers

This conversion must make it hard on fuel. I have just a remapp and even though it's transformed the car my god it's hard on fuel. If you drive normal it's ok but press the pedal watch the MPG drop like a stone.

Micky, that's the only downside to owning a petrol

MPG will never be great if you drive the car 'properly' so a few less MPG with this kit won't hurt I'd imagine.

I see no reason why the engine cover wouldn't go on Tom.

The EVOMS cover isn't compatible due to the screw that holds the VF intake pipe to the cam cover.

Would love the engine bay to look OEM - would seriously consider the K04 with the stock intake

Thought you had tried it, shame looks like i got some serious cutting to do.
Think the K04 will need a bit more air flow than stock intake, prove me wrong mate get one on order

If the Ed30 one flows more air than a regular GTI, then that one!

Hmmm if that's the case why do we need to buy evoms etc when the stock air intakes can make 300bhp on the ED 30 etc with just a remapp? I think there are a lot mods available that are not needed .
