Hi All My 1.9TDi Octavia is due it's first (10,000 mile) in a couple of weeks, but wanted your views on a couple of dealers. I live in Lincoln and work just outside Leicester, so could use either Dennis Horton's in Lincoln or Farmer's Skoda in Leicester. Now when I was looking at Skoda's a few months ago the sales guy's a Dennis Horton's were just plain useless, not interested in the slightest when they realised it would be a company car and not a sale for them. BUT do generally have a decent reputation locally. Farmers Skoda I know nothing about other than reading a few threads on here where they are mentioned, but seem to have a reasonable reputation also. If anyone has any more views on these two dealers I'd be very glad to hear them. TIA

Just my own thoughts but Hortons have always had a very good reputation locally, you will get a loan car free of charge, have your own washed and vaccuumed out or you could wait for it. They were Skoda dealer of the year for 2006, so must do something right occassionally.

I've had 2 Octavias from Farmers in Leicester, both have been serviced by Farmers and I've been very happy with them Might well buy my 3rd from them in the very near future ![]() Darren

Well it went into Falmers for it's first service today which consisited of a re-set on the computer. The supplying dealer had set it to fixed service instead of variable, so was coming up too early ![]() On a side note. as it's now set to variable, is there any way of looking in the "system" and all these "hidden" functions at when the computer recons it will need doing?
