| Would have thought they are all different for security reason.....get the dealer to remove them and get a new set....it's better to be safe than sorry.

| I'm sure your dealer will be able to get the bolts off (may be they'll just order a key for them). But like I said it's probably safer to have a new set ready.

| Dealers should have a full set of keys for emergency use by them. Skodaw or K will be able to confirm.

| Have my wheel-bolt keys very well hidden in the car - so much so, that when I had my springs done I had to rack m brain for a few seconds to think where I'd shoved it. ![]() I would think the key code would be on the key, and the dealer can order a set (making sure you're the correct owner of course.)

| Kenny The standard locking nuts used by VAG have a range of numbers -- your dealer should be able to match the existing and order a new key for you -- but I would strongly suggest you might like to invest in a set of McGard locking nuts -- they are much more secure than the standard lot -- and cost about the same -- the standard locking nuts can be removed VERY easily without ANY special tools AND without doing any damage.

| Locking wheelnut removal sockets are freely available to almost anyone now ..............so if they want them badly enough , I suspect they will get them .

| Thanks guys - I can just imagine the stress of looking at a shiny new set of 18s on the drive and then seeing a lock on the current rims ![]()
