| What a hot day, hence the slightly disappointing results, however it still feels great to drive, and i'll just have to wait for a cool evening to experience the full power. The results at the end of the RR session: 217.9 bhp & 313.5 Nm (231 lb/ft) Mike reckons there would have been another 10 bhp if the temperature had been lower. ![]()

| Gunnie As I keep reminding people - don't get hung up on the BHP figure. Every turbo car I've had remapped or chipped varies with the atmospheric conditions and fuel used. Just enjoy the way it drives and NEVER underestimate the effects of extra torque ! |

| I'm pleased with the results, Mike did his best to gain the optimate fugures on the day. It does drive well and the increase in torque is amazing - it obviously needs a lot more testing ![]()

| Martin, glad you had a good day and are pleased with your result. What with the fine weather and the amount if Briskodians having remaps there'll be a lot of testing being done! Maybe there'll also be a better chance of someone being spotted for the "Was It You" forum. Cheers. Adrian. |

| I see that the atmospheric pressure was very low that day - 988 mbar - which will account for some of the power loss too.

| I pay £291.98 fully comp for my 4X4 Estate, for 2 drivers, both business use, courtesy car, £120 excess, protected NCD, and have 3rd Party cover to drive other vehicles (unlike my sons' policies). And you, Nick? ![]() Saga? Is that the milk pudding which looks like frog spawn? ![]()

| Just over £600 for 2 drivers business use, 25k miles/year (which is a serious underestimate this year) PNCD etc. 3 points (none next time), yes to the 3rd party cover etc. inc the mods. Yours WILL go up, and you may have to change insurance companies, but it will probably still be less than mine. Saga: here

| Nick Thank you for the Saga link. I don't ever anticipate needing to use their products! Bearing in mind next Tuesday's Jabba slot, I have literally just obtained a quote from LiverpoolVictoria for my 4X4. The premium quoted for Class 1 use, 2 drivers, protected NCD, £200 accident excess, £50 fire excess, £40 windscreen breakage excess is £378.75 - ie £86.77 more than I am currently paying. Now the interesting bit is that there would be no premium increase for chipping the car. I asked for confirmation of this twice, and was advised that the premium would only rise if the engine size were to be increased. Fitting a modified exhaust would not affect the premium either - only a change in engine size. Needless to say I was totally gobsmacked by this news! ![]() Has anyone else experience of insuring a chipped car with LiverpoolVictoria? I do know that the company comes recommended by SEATCupra.net members. NB. I have copied a modified version of this post to this thread in General so as to get wider feedback on my question.
