| Went to my local Skoda dealer to order an armrest for the vRS and basically got a big from him.I've got the Etka parts page so can someone (steveredvrs, gaff, karlrs?), who's had one fitted, tell me what parts I need? From the drawing I think I need 67a, 67b, 67d, 68a, 68b, 69, 70, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79?, and 62 tray insert? Anyone know what colours I need? If someone who's had one fitted can give me the contact No of the Skoda garage who fitted theirs, then they should still have the record? Also what's the 'Milotec' armrests like as an alternative?

| Right - I think I can now give you the details of what you need to order. As I said before, my dealer made a right mess up of the parts ordering for the armrest. They were fantastic at putting it right though and we got there in the end!!! The actual parts you require are 67a, 67b, 67c, 67d, 68a, 68b, 69, 70, 75, 76, 77 and 78. You do not need the other parts in your list. Parts 67a,b,c and d are actually ordered as one part - for a vRS with a black leather interior you need part number 3B0864209N with Trim Code LUL - this is already made up of the parts 67a-d and costs a whopping £194.51 + VAT The caps 68a and 68b are part numbers 1U086428047H & 1U086427947H and these are £9.97 & £7.23 repectively. Part 75 is the bracket - this is 4B08642413AB98 and costs £29.38 I believe Part 76 is called an adaptor part number 1J0711354 costing £2.37 I believe part 69 is part number 1J0864079 costing £6.14 Parts 70,77 & 78 were not actually supplied by the dealer (they supplied the wrong bits) - so I got some appropriate bolts from a local supplier. The armrest only takes around 10-20 minutes to fit - once you have the correct parts. I would not recommend getting a third party armrest - as the VAG one with a leather top is very good quality. Happy Hunting!!! Steve |

| From the cost involved (although I am still waiting to hear what the damage will actually be) it sounds like an armrest costs about as much as a Jabba remap - in which case it's no contest. ![]()

| From the posting above the sum of the parts is about £290, but as I realy want one I went to my local dealer to order them. Got someone on the desk different to last time who had actually installed a couple before and he has quoted me £250 for a leather armrest fitted!!
