| My skoda octavia VRs now due for second variable service, garage suggested cambelt is due for change but car is 4 yr old and only done 33,000 k. Is this change normally based on miles or yrs. What price am i looking at !!!!!!!! ![]() |

| Yup it is due at four years. Price 'around' £300.

| I feel your pain legs. Just went through exactly the same two weeks ago. MOT, 120K mile service, cambelt. The day after getting the MOT certification a small chip in the windscreen on the passenger side decided it wanted to see what life is like on the drivers side.
