| I'v bought 2.5 litre of Motul RBF 600 brakefluid. Is it enough fluid? How do I do it the best way? (i'm thinking of using the pump hold method) Any special things to think about because of the ABS and so on.. where on the claiper is the bleed 'plug' ? |

| 2.5 litres is enough. Capacity is 1.75 so you'll have some to be able to flush the system. You may need more if its a DOT 5. DOT and super DOT 4 don't need much in the way of flushing as they are compatible. You will need to get your dealer to give it a final bleed. They have a special tool for venting the ABS chambers. You will always get a small amount of air in the system, no matter how careful you are. Hope that helps.

| It won't make any difference! I know I've tried. I had a friend do it with me, he runs a non-VAG garage. We couldn't do a final bleed of the ABS chambers, so the next time I got the dealer to do it when the car was being serviced. Be aware that these "race" fluids do not last as long as normal road ones.
