| Awesome GTI in Warrington can do the remap. They said that 300lb/ft torque is the maximum that you can go with the standard turbo, so i'll also be getting a boost controller fitted just to be safe. |

| Yea, the standard Ko3 or whatever number it is on the Octy RS. I have a piper induction kit, samco hose set, turbosmart dualport dv moved to inlet manifold via an AET kit. Thats about it apart from black diamond discs. Just before the remap i plan to fit a Blue Flame cat back system. si |

| Interesting..APR's published figures are 245ft Lbs + 10% for optimax program + a few for other mods. Best check in for an update to my code ![]() Re Clutches, the IP Sachs also has a lightened fly option, or if you want to keep the weight, i.e. dual mass, then JBS are hopefully bringing one to market soon suitable for k03 maxing and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond *as mine feels like it's going*.

| I think I know which cars aswell ![]() If I do, I think you'll be okay on your OEM clutch and gearbox, clutch might fail eventually, but I'm on 45k and it's only begining to go....that said we know somebody who killed it in 4k...what I'm trying to say is unless your keen and place "additional" forces beyond road tyres your clutch will be okay. We are noticing a trend on gearbox failures, that is not related to remaps. It's almost point to point obvious/proovable aswell. Except we can't afford the gearboxess to test/proove.

| No worries Adrian since I've been running APR programs for over 30 months on two different cars, I'm interested aswell... ![]() Update:Mis-quoted/mis read...300 is a blowing up maximum zone...you won't get near that on an APR program, unless you opt for the unreleased stage III. There is no harm in doing your clutch anyway, will be far better in the long run ![]()

| the clutch and flywheel from ip is very good, felt very nice and responsive for the week that i had it before my gearbox broke, dont worry they aren't connected. if i remember right its about 450 for clutch and flywheel, if you only want the clutch then its about 160 ish i think. but go for both, worth it in the end. the difference in kick when you are going for it is quite big.

| IP do a range of clutches for all sorts of power, they can even make one to your spec, not that I would ever condone/do anything like that. Have a word with Mike at IP.
