Default Door Mirrors And Wheels

Couple of questions. 1. What size are the standard steel wheels on the basic trim Octavia (what to buy new trims and the official Skoda ones are to expensive).

2. I have just bought the Octavia. I dislike the blind spot segment at the end of the drivers side door mirror, and would like to replace it with a normal mirror like that fitted on the passenger side. My dealer has only glass with the blind spot section for the drivers side. Left hand drive Octavias should have the mirrors reversed, so I was wondering if anyone knows a company that imports parts for left hand drive cars that could get me the mirror glass.

Think they're 15inch - easiest way to tell is look at the side of your tyres, and it'll say something like 195/65R15 on it. The number after the R will be the rim size in inches.

Not sure on the door mirror glass - Halfords do a range of replacements which might work...

William, go back to your dealer and ask him to order you the appropriate LHD replacement glass for your mirror. LHD and RHD mirrors and parts are listed on ETKA so there is no excuse for him not being able to order you the part you want. It might need to come from the factory, of course.
