Post Fabia 1.2 upgrades?

As the title says, I have a 1.2 2004 Fabia, I was looking for what kind of things I could do to improve performance, from a turbo or anyhting else for that matter, becuase I dont know what I can or can not do to this kind of engine. Any help would be great!

I doubt much would be cost effective to upgrade one of these. Really you would be better to change the car.
I suppose you could do the usual.
Exhaust, air filter etc but gains would be minimal, and a turbo would cost a fortune i reckon. Also if you increase the performance in one of these the handling and brakes would need upgrading. I suppose it depends on how much more you are looking to get.
Oh and welcome to the board Get you VRS on order

what do you define by a fortune? I hear they run about $1000-$1500. At least here. I dont know how much it would cost in pounds . . . Also faster, how much gains would I make if i were to do these pgrades? I dont think I could just change the car like that. I just got it like 3 months ago and I am looking to bost it to like maybee 80's or the 90's HP range, just want a bost, its a tad hard when youve got a free for all on the high way I use to go to work
and if you know of any website that do have these parts, please link um to me! And any interior kit's and stuff woudl be great, cuz I cant seem to find any!

Thanks again!

Fitting a turbo will be expensive, void any warranty, increase wear on the engine, make insurance more expensive/harder to get cover, and affect resale value. And that's assuming the ECU on the 1.2 can be programmed to deal with a turbo.

The other option is to sort out the inducation/exhaust (no great gains, but will improve responsiveness), and get a set of racing cams (again, no major gains but can change the driving characteristics).

I can see what your thinking about, there is one about like that not too far from where I live. White with the worst stickers and the worst set of wheels I could immagine. But have no fear, that kind of thing does not rock my boat Also, I have been looking in vain for sites that have interiors for the Fabia, but all of them are not in English! help?

Nice! Looks quite cool, and also later on in the thread there is a guy with a 1.3 that had it done, as well as an other with a 1.2.

William is right! Both 6v (54 bhp) and 12v (64 bhp) are "HTP" engines (High Torque Performance). They are also MPI (Multi Point Injection). Very nice engines too (3 cylinder). Limited scope for enhancement - maybe a remap but dont know if anyone does one - maybe a NOx injection system! Wrong end of the model range for performance enhancements...just tart it up to look like a VRS and no one in town will know any better.
