| hi for the last few days in a morninig when cold or when the car has been stood for a good while when i start the car up the little red thermoneter sigh thing starts flashing and beeps a few times i checked the book and its for engine fluid so i checked the water and thats fine but it still does it now if the car has been run for over 20mins then i can switch it of and on and it stops untill the car has been left all night car is a standard fabia vrs 2004 |

| Yep, it's a common fault. Have a search, and you'll find out about how you can clean the contacts as a first attempt, otherwise you'll need a new expansion tank (about £12 plus the cost of a coolant refill) HTH ![]() |
