Mucho £££££ Someone said a couple of weeks back that the Octavia workshop manual was iirc £750, I assume this excludes VAT

do you mean the workshop manual or the little manual you get with the car telling you about all the fun little things other models have and if you weren't so tight you would have too ??

when a muppet like myself reads it, i have never seen/held/heard of a 'factory manual' before so please forgive my grave in normally inexcusable lack of knowledge

IIRC you can buy the individual manual binder that you want rather than the whole set for £750, no idea what it costs though. But it wont be updated which is quite important.

With block exemption any tools/equipment and even training must be availalbe to the public to buy, but they dont set a limit to how much it costs. Anyone can now book themselves ona a Skoda training course if they like, might not want to foot the bill though. They worked out to send me on Master tech cost the Pilling Motor group around £10K in training cost and lost revenue whilst I wasnt there...shocking.
