| Brisk 500 bhp at 7,800 rpm, 443 lb/ft at 3,700 rpm, F430 483 bhp at 8,500 rpm 343 lb/ft at 5,250 rpm. Come on admit it, it is one hell of a nippy Fabia Admittedly I am unable to find a torque curve for it but can't see it being that bad![]()

| no but i recall taviaRS trying to remove the sump for weight saving..... then he tried getting more power by forcing the turbo vanes through the inlet manifold but IIRC this was less than sucessful.

| I always found that getting the turbo impeller out of the back box a lot easier. Oh and loosing a couple rods helped.

| BHP is nothing as been said - many cars faster with less power! a nice wide power band with strong torque and a god driver are so much better than a peaky engine! oh, and the fastest Skoda has got to be a Fabia vRS hasnt it? Theres nothing that can beat these ![]() ![]() ![]() |
