| It appears that Felicias suffer a problem with the headlight aligment, eg it goes off and cannot be fixed. I'm told by Skoda dealer there's a kit available (at hideous price to put this right) or they can be fixed permenantly in place. Is this true if so any suggestions on cheap diy method? cheers |

| Surely this would be classed as a design fault and should be fixed for free?? Or am I just being naive?

| Had same problem on my previous car '95 Felicia LXI, my Skoda Dealers just aligned the headlamps but disabled the switch inside the car. Passed MOT no problems, and although I could have paid to have them fixed on a 9 year old car, the outlay was too much!

| There is no adjustment pin that I can see & it seems that the entire unit is integrated. What EXACTLY are you guys talking about? I agree with previous post - it's a design fault and should be fixed for free. |

| Remove the adjuster unit from the back of the headlight. The rod that goes into the headlight and connects to the bottom of the reflector has a phillips screw end on it. Wind this out, it wil lengthen. Refit the motor and it will have raised the headlamp giving you some more adjustment on the regular adjuster.
