Default Forge Dump Valve Right angle connector

Hi,

I have purchased a forge FMDV006 dump valve for my Octy vRS. Seems to be fine, except I would think it would fit better under the engine cover if it had a right angle connector on the top of it rather than a straight connector. Does anyone know if, and where I can get one?

Regards

Gary

fits better and is much louder if you fit it reversed.

i have the 006 aswell, fitted in the reverse position.it's true that it's louder but that isn't a bad thing is it?i also have a revo remap and they told me that fitting the valve this way is better, because the charge air isn't against the side of the piston which over time can cause it to stick.fitted in the reverse way the charge air is against the bottom of the piston.
hope this helps

Perhaps Adrian (SkodiRS) would like to add his views on this?

But with it fitted in the reverse position is the boost not acting on the piston pushing it against the spring?

Surely to boost will lift the piston of its seat wouldnt it? If its around the other way (the normal way) boost is coming into the side of the piston.

????

When you say fit it in the revese position, I presume you mean turn it by 90 degrees? The top has a very small connector, the side & bottom the larger one?
