| The ECU is under the bonnet (obviously ). It is mounted on the bulkhead at the rear of the engine bay towards the passenger side of the car. It's a silver box with a few sticky lables on it.No doubt someone has a photo of an engine bay they could illustrate with.

| Should be staring you in the face I can't help as I don't have a vRS (have a TDI ECU number in front of me ) There may be more than one type of ECU given how Jabba had so many variations to cope with, so its seriously best to check yours - Just look behind the pipe coming from the airbox - should be on the sticker right on the front of the ECU. - normally starts 038 906 , mine ends in 019 AFHTH

| No problem. Thinking about it I've had three Fabias and the ECU has always been in the same place so if in doubt check in the manual.

| The sticker on the box has several numbers on it, the one you want will start 038 and end in a 2 character code Edit: Should really read what others have posted before replying! |

| Thanks guys, I've checked mine this morning and it's the same i.e. 038 906 019 LA and my Furby is 6 weeks old. I will be calling AMD to sort out the One Click (£300 + VAT), which is a bit of a bargin (IMHO) plus the fact it can be up graded to a custom remap as and when required. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Charlo |
