| Not sure about the Sport but the vRS engine cover just comes off when you pull it upwards. Don't you have any instructions with your induction kit? |

| Does anyone have some experiance with these kits? Do they really add any power/bhp on a petrol engine? Bgds Dan |

| Just depends, some are made simply for sound, and some purly for performance. the enclosed kits are better as they keep the hot air out and breathe in more power.

![]() Pipercross Viper Induction Kit / Skoda Fabia / Rimstyle Autodesign Ltd / Styling and Tuning Specialists What would be a realistic gain on a 1.2 with 70bhp? Bgds Dan Last edited by nutztoys; 02-03-2008 at 20:59. | |

| It depends on the restriction from the standard airbox, how well the ECU responds to an increase in air/fuel and how the air feed on the Viper is located. |

In the past ive used kits from green K&N pipercross and currently a carbonio and out of the lot the carbonio gives the best intake noise ![]() An increase in BHP on there own though mmmmmm nothing noticeable but its the same as all mods a bit here and a bit there plus a remap makes all the difference ![]()

| Agreed - I fitted a Pipercross VIS kit (same as a Carbonio but with a better filter) on a mates Corrado VR6 and it was such a delicious sound on WOT ![]() |

| id say ud maybe get 0.5 or 1bhp max! youll likely to get more sound and think its pulling better, and a cleaner pull in the rev range |

| Realistically, I think a free-flow CAI induction kit will be worth 3 or 4 bhp. |
