mike,

as you know i have the switchable remap from APR and it *never* gone back to stock since i got the car.

the only switching i do is between 98 and 95 modes and that is very rare.

if your dealer knows about the remap and you don't think you'll be using the boost controller much, the chances are you won't at all and it's not worth it.

just imho, of course.

I have the boost controller fitted and it's well worth it.

The main benefit is that you can change the boost depending on the conditions. I mainly run at 3/4 max but when it's really cold I wack it to max for some fun. If the Summer is hot like last year you'll probably feel you car is a bit lethargic...adjust the boost and it'll run a lot better.

You also get the benefit of Jabba being able to play with the overboost and torque limiters so, you get a bit more boost. This is something they wouldn't normally do for just a remap...as you can control the amount of boost they are happy to do this.
