| Nope, Follow the guidelines in the manual about not using max revs for the first 1000 miles or so, and you'll be fine. Cruising along a motorway should be perfect for running it in. Enjoy ![]() |

| When running your car in on motorway miles, just be careful to alter the engine speeds with fairly frequent gear changes. Steve

| Only thing is it will take longer (in terms of miles) for the engine to be properly run-in, and in particular other components such as brakes. If you drive anything like me you won't even have any dust on the wheels after 1000 miles! |

| Agree with Steve_vRS, an engine should be subjected to load (acceleration) and varying engine speeds rather than constant revs during run-in. Also if you sit on the mway in 5th you're not using your gearbox either... Why not do 50 miles mway, 50miles A road? |
