| Anyone got any advice on changing spark plugs in an Octavia RS Mk1? I've heard some say it is a pain in the posterior. Any special tools/ tips?

| If you can handle a plug spanner you should be ok...... remove plastic cover from top of engine then you wil see a smallish black plastic part with vac; pipes going into it remove this (10mm nuts and also allen bolts)...... remove the securing pins off of the wiring loom going to the individual plugs as this will "just" allow enough free play to remove the coil pack/leads.....ease no1 up first with the aid of two large flat screwdrivers taking care then do the others...you can now change the plugs HTH i used iridium plugs in mine and have noticed a slight improvement in throttle response Phil

| I have ordered OEM plugs from the local dealer, and I guess I'll be adding a plug spanner to my tool kit at the weekend.
