Smile Octy back,all modifications fitted........

well having got my car back from being repaired on Monday i've had a busy couple of days and nights fitting all the parts i'd purchased over the last 9 weeks for it.
F+R ARB's were fitted while it was being repaired and the Upper and Lower Strut Braces,
Fitted Jabba FMIC,its a very very tight fit but got it in,
Samco TIP again a tight fit and a couple of bruised/cut knuckles all done,
then the full exhaust fitted this morning and its all finished.

what can i say the transformation is amazing, its a different car now, everything i was hoping it would be,and a bit more.

it pulls so hard, turbo spins up quicker, sounds better and goes round corners now!!!!

all in all i'm very impressed, just need to get the re-map tweaked to make the most of the mods, not that it really feels it needs it but want to make sure everything is as it should be.

suspension is standard other than the ARB's+S3 Strut braces and it is complete transformation,it dosen't roll at all and turns into corners harder and grips better.
the understeer is all but a distant memory unless its wet and that isn't a bad thing as it reminds me to slow down!!!

i would recommend without hesistation as a great first upgrade to improve the Octy.
not that i have a huge experience but the R32 front ARB might be a bit better as it isn't as thick as the Neuspeed so will be a little more progressive and its considerably cheaper!!!

Hi guys,

I have just ordered a set of ARB from ABD RAcing 25mm at the front and 28mm at the rear.
Also the front and lower struts from Neuspeed.

Hope I made the right decision.

Hi Guys,

Recently a large Group Buy (Neuspeed products) from AweSome GTI store (thanks Ade) finished for the Skoda guys here in Greece.

I bought for my VRS also the Neuspeed ARB set and the Neuspeed lower tie bar and upper strut brace also (in this group buy).

My car is stock (as far as wheels, suspension) and i'm planning to fit the ARBs.

WrightyRS,

Since you've done this ...any more detail about the rear ARB adjustment (which possition you have it?) or feeling for the proper cooperation with std suspension??
(I'm planning later to have a better suspension system).
My car usage is not for track...

WrightyRS...my other toys too...
CBR600F4 (00)
KR1-S (90).

No mine is the non-adjustable one. Cant wait to get my hands on them. Guess I have to wait another 10 days for it to reach. We dont have anything here in India and anything we need has to come from UK or sometimes from Singapore.

WrightyRS, I really am waiting. By the way have you lost out on the comfortable ride??

THX

HI guys,

Got the ABD RACING ARB"s fitted yesterday. Also fixed a front upper and lower strut brace (Neuspeed)from Awesome (Ade). Am using standard suspension with 235/45 R 17 tyres.

The car has changed a lot guys. It is hard to describe the difference. Just love it.

Guys am looking out to do a short shifter. Any of you guys have any experience to share PLS,
