| I didnt read the links but a couple of years ago i got all my oil and filter changes done at national as they were £15 for the complete job and semi - synthetic oil. But then they either realised their mistake or realised it was being under sold and changed their deal for SS to £24.99 - Still good if you ask me. I just had the one overfill problem but was quickly rectified. I think its duckams they use. ![]() |

| Do they do a 'proper' oil change, i.e. remove sump plug etc, or do they just suck the oil out through the filler cap?

| Very cheap change with castrol edge for fully synthetic oil. Yes they do remove the plug.

| Don't they suck it out from the dipstick receptacle? I can't see it being very effective through the filler cap.

| You use something like Laser Fluid Extractor - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys to suck it out. Only problems I can think of are maybe sludge will be left at the bottom and you can't be certain the extractor has reached the bottom of the engine. |
