| Hi I have just bought a skoda felicia pacific and apart from a few niggles it is a good little runabout. The first problem is i am getting loads of oil from under the dashboard. not sure exactly where its coming from..I have removed the sound proofing cos it was oil soaked..any ideas? secondly could anybody tell me is the 1.3 engine`s top end tappets adjustable or hydraulic? if tappets what should the gaps be set too? Nice forum but a search option would be good cheers peter |

| the oil will alomost deffinately be gearbox oil, it is a fairly common fault, it travels up through the centre of the speedo cable.... and the tappets are adjustable to (no hydraulics) but i cant remember the clearances off the top of my head at the moment.... use the search function
