Default Pipercross Viper air filter

Just wondering............

I have a 'spare' Pipercross Viper airfilter in the garage which has come off of my Focus 1.8 zetec petrol. I see that Pipercross list the Viper filter (Its a ram-air effect filter in case you are not sure!) for engine like the Ibiza Cupra etc.

Now is it worth retro-fitting this to my Octy vRS ? I see that I will have to buy a breather filter for the car anyway. All I would need is some silicone hose (I work up the road from Burton Power in Essex, so getting hold of that is no problem). Perhaps its worth trying the filter on the vRS ???

I was going to get the carbon intake from Awsome GTI, but perhaps re-using this Viper filter will do for now.

Any comments / ideas would be grateful.

Andy
