Depends what you want out of them mate. I had G88's and I cant rate them highly enough, but a touch expensive. Picked up a set of zimmerman 312's from gsf and although not bedded in yet i'm not wholly enjoying them.

if you are just daily driving then oem discs and pads will be more than adequate.

Pads wise, again depending on how you use it, ds2500 grip like the proverbial when warm, I used to use pagid FR's but they have stopped making them which were very good, and currently have black diamonds and the jury is still out.

But again for a commute etc then OEM are fine.

I still like EBC redstuff ceramic V3 and am running them fine, however most people on here hate the things.

IMHO they grip very well and i've seen no issues with them breaking up.

Regardless of which pads you like (and the DS2500 are available) I've got OEM discs and think they are more than adequate for fast road use.

i use mintex extreme pads and OEM discs and they take a lot of abuse and ive not had any problems yet with them. brother uses Ferrodo DS2500 and loves them on OEM discs.

ime OEM discs are more than adequate unless your pushing some serious power.

Tarox G88s get the vote from me. Tarox Strada pads to compliment for everyday driving.

I had mintex disc's and pads on my fabia vRS easily copped with the 170 horses. I looked at the Ferrodo DS2500 but they were twice the price of the mintex pads.

DS2500's work better than OE from cold and clearly work extremely well when ragged also.
For the heavier more powerfull car which takes to the track on occasion, consider DS3000's for the higher top end temp range.
Not cheap pads, but class leaders without question.

Just my two penneth.. drilled/grooved discs not really worth it unless your taking it on track. before the Tarox strada that are on there at the moment i had DS2500.. the DS2500 are more expensive but utterly amazing.. would well rate them above the Tarox items
