Red Dot Racing?

Hi guys,

I've seen an advert on Ebay for Skoda remapping in Watford for £199.99, which seems a good deal to me at a place called Red Dot Racing..

Just wanted to know if anyone has any experience of this lot as it seemed a bit too good to be true..

This is the link if anyone wants to see it for themselves..
SKODA FABIA VRS OCTAVIA REMAP CHIP MORE BHP & TORQUE on eBay, also Chips, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 26-May-08 15:31:29 BST)

Seriously thinkin of booking it up..

Thanks!

Re: Red Dot Racing?

Post 6?

That mentions ' just running like a bag of rubish, not boosting until after 5k and a few with long term fuel trim problems'.... but isnt Dervdoctor only talking about crappy remaps in general??

I have googled RDR in Watford, and to be honest, it's a mixed bag. A few people (not skoda owners) are very happy with their work, but I just wanted some Skoda owners advice on them.. I understand that you often get what you pay for, but I also understand that lots of people give opinions when they have had no dealings with the particular company, instead saying things like 'they sound too good to be true' and ' I prefer to use 'x' company '... I am sure there are other, better people out there, but Red Dot are local to me and offering what is, a good deal if they do a good job.

Again, has anyone used Red Dot Racing in Watford, and have you got any feedback?? I know about claytarget_god's problem, but wanted to know if anyone else had any issues??

Thanks in advance!
