| I had just started the car on Saturday morning, and hadn't driven more than a few yards, when the fault warning system decided to give me a fright. The red "thermometer" icon lit up, and the multi-function display showed "STOP! check coolant". I missed the rest of the warning message. Anyway, I stopped, looked where I had been parked - no puddles on the ground - opened the bonnet and checked the coolant tank - well above the "min" level. Started up again - no warning. Drove on, keeping an eye on the temperature gauge, which moved up to "normal", and sat there. Is this likely to be a warning of impending doom, or should I just treat it as a glitch (maybe the mythical alpha particle flipping a bit in the ECU's cache memory)?

| MY Senator had a similar fault which I cured by fitting a new coolant bottle cap with sensor.
