Default squeaking suspension

My octy RS has developed a very annoying squeaking noise which sounds like it is coming from the nearside front suspension. It is very noticable when I'm going over speed bumps, just wondered if anybody could throw some light on what it could be.
cheers

I've got the same noise over speed bumps. Noticed it when driving without the stereo on, won't do that again

had exactly the same problem. It turned out to be the anti roll bar and bush. The local dealer did it as part of the warrenty.

Really annoying, sounds like your car is falling apart

hope this helps and your car is under warrenty

Did you fit the new modified bushes? Have done several sets on TT's with 100% sucess rate.

Did you lube then with grease?

Don't know if they were the "Uprated" ones, but I can find the part number later As for greasing them, I asked, and the Audi Tech said NOT to grease them, so I let them be Think I should spray some white Lithium grease up in there???

Thx

I personally allways put a smear of rubber grease on them before assembly. Not only should it help with the squeaking but it makes them a darn site easier to fit.

Yeah, I DID cheat a bit and spray a little WD-40 on the outside in order to get that damned clip to squeeze over

And TBH I don't look forward to pulling them off to grease'em
