Default Stiff rear

sorry about the name, couldn't resist.

after having the new gearbox in the car reverse is sometimes very stiff to engage, even taking 3 or 4 attempts at times. is this normal for a new box or is something set up wrong?

I occasionally have to have a couple of goes at getting into reverse, and first can be a bit sticky too, but it is not serious enought to warrant being investigated. As you will know, the 4X4 has a different gearbox to the vRS.

This thread is about the 4X4 gearbox. If the rot isn't stopped here and now we will have Furbie owners popping up too to tell us their gearboxes do this, that and the other.
