Question Strut Brace For Fabia

Do they exist?
Im thinking about one for a Fabia vRS as
Ibiza TDI 130 folks on seatcupra.net say that it makes a huge difference to their cars, and saying as the fabia is the same chassis.. maybe the same will apply

will the seatsport ibiza one fit?

cheers

Yes they exist for a Fabia, not only that but you have a choice of steel or aluminium
I've never known a strut brace make a 'huge' difference but they are a worthwhile investment for sure.

Erik,

Are the strut braces for the front as well as the rear?

Front upper and lower plus rear too, all in a selection of steel {painted red} or polished aluminium

What's the price for the front upper brace? And does it require any mods to the engine bay to fit? (I'm broke ATM so don't rush to find out the details...)

Yes someone who posted on here before has the SEAT one fitted to his fab.

Not worth bothering with unless you've uprated the suspension i would have thought.

It was massa who has fitted the Seat Sport Ibiza (2003) strut brace to his fabia tdi. He reckons it stiffened/improved the handling on his, so might be worth doing.
Pic below but not that clear.

Looks too much like extra weight to me. What would you say if my back seats fell out for the National? They're getting a little loose and have a horrible suspicion they're about to fall out by the end of the week.

You're having a laugh! Putting pounds of subs and amps in, but worried about a bit of steel which actually improves handling?

Well - put it this way, it's well "bungeed" in at the moment, and it's pretty secure (through testing the springs already) - Going to Halfords during the week to find velcro straps, if only to just add more secure strapping.

And, yes, I know I've shoved in a heavy sub & amp... I was rather taking the michael out of myself with that sweeping statement!
