| The Temperature warning light (little thermometer with bars down the side) keeps coming on a few seconds after I start my car in the morning. It only happens when outside temp is cold and the light stays on unless i turn the ignition off after approx a minute of it running and restart . Am going to get my dealer to have a look at it when they take the car in to replace the seat covers under warrantybut was wondering whether anyone else has had this problem and, if so, what it was ![]()

| Sounds like the coolant level sensor - see this thread. It happened once or twice on my car during the summer; now that the cold weather is here, it seems to be happening every morning. I've booked the car in to have it checked.

| one of two things will set the light flashing either coolant level sensor (in expansion tank) or temp sensor.
