| Not a vRS but remapped. BP Ultimate or Shell Optimax - but will probably use 95RON after having Jabba's boost controller fitted and only use 97/98RON for holidays and special occasions. (There is a hefty cost premium down south for the latter two.)

| Always use optimax - like Jimmy unless we're completely stuffed and have to put normal gas in.

| I DON'T use any of the 98 Ron stuff (simply because of cost, 450+ miles per week), but Mike at Jabba told me that BP's 95ron was better quality than supermarket juice, so that's almost all that I use (and Sainbury's at times because I get Nectar points there too ). The BP stuff makes the car run smoothly and pulls strongly.I recently changed to Tesco's 95Ron stuff because it was 2p a litre cheaper where I work in Coventry (77.9p versus 79.9p @ BP). However, my fuel economy (non-scientifically ) seemed to go down by around 10%, which didn't justify the 2.5% decrease in price, so, I'm back to BP again Interestingly, there was a rumour that BP old 97Ron stuff (?) actually became the "95" Ron stuff when ultimate was brought in (where I heard this I'm unsure of, sorry )My 2 pennies worth Rich

| Depends, most of the time 95 from Texaco, BP or Shell. I will run her on optimax when I have a trip coming up (trip = day out with the car) when I change the ecu program to 98 after a tank or two ![]()

| Just started running on Optimax, I'm halfway through my second tank now and the car seems to be running better. Also MPG seems a bit better. Still not convinced though, I'll try a couple more tank fulls then go back to the normal stuff and see if there is any difference. That Optimax is bl**dy expensive stuff. ![]()

| 3 tanks Optimax then 1 tank unleaded.......have tried Ultimate but found is gives less mpg than Optimax and the car runs less smoothly. That said, Ultimate is more consitant......I have had the odd "poor" tankful of Optimax.

| I use the cheapest standard unleaded I can find. Just for scientific curiosity I let the car run almost dry and then filled up with BP Ultimate. Other than the hefty bill I noticed f**k difference either in power or mpg. |
