| I'm just wondering when the vRS needs a new, stronger clutch (like the one in Audi S3!?) to withstand the new improved torque by modifying it? My car has a torque of 315-320Nm, do I need to change my clutch? What's your experience guys? Where's the limit? Cheers, FD

| You aren't at the limit yet. It'll cope with that provided you don't drag race it to much. As for an upgrade, how about this: Lightened flywheel - get a standard Golf Rallye G60 one, must be from the Rallye (4wd). Save about 6-7kg To mate that to the Octavia gearbox you then buy: Golf G60 pressure plate (not from the Rallye) Golf G60 friction material - available in 3 compounds, normal, uprated and sport. Don't advise the sport unless you like a paddle clutch (basically on or off and therefore crap in traffic) Not that I'm thinking about it or anything ![]() Jon ![]()
