Car: Green Signum (208 bhp) | Re: Anyone near banbury? Hiya,
There's quite a few near Banbury, although I do not know anyone who uses their car for motorsport (other than the odd trackday). There is (was?) going to be a meet in the middle of July, so maybe you can join that and meet up?

We should organise a local meet though if people live in the Oxford area? | I rally my Impreza in club level 12 car rallies (it is also my daily driver and work car) I have bought the Estellle to do the Lands End trial and maybe have some fun in some club autotests and 12 car rallies, I am a Witney motor club member. You can do a 12 car rally in anything, it uses quiet country back roads late on a Friday or Saturday evening. We usually start about 9:30 and finish around 1:00 am. It is test of navigation with target times based on an average speed of 30 miles an hour. get a couple of wrong slots on the navigation and you have to go a bit to avoid late penalties.
Autotests are a harsher on the car put Witney Motor Club Autotest into YouTube and you'll see what it's about.
I'd be up for a local meet if there are enough people interested. Witney Motor Club motorshow is on 26th of July in Witney if anyone is interested.

Car: Yellow Yeti (???BHP) | Re: Anyone near banbury? Next Witney Motor Club Autotest is on 29th July. It is on GRASS! so little clutch and transmission damage, but loads of wheelspin and potential for the odd puncture. However it also means that you don't have to work too hard to get powerslide. It will be in North Leigh near Witney and I will be there competing in the Estelle. If anyone wants to come along for a look feel free, or if you want to enter go to www.witneymotorclub.co.uk for more details. You need to be a Witney Motor Club member to enter and you will also have to pay an entry fee.

Car: Yeti (###BHP) | Re: Anyone near banbury? I'm also a Banbury area person, this is my first post as I usually lurk just reading.
I joined up because my daughter has a Felicia, and I've had Estelles in the past, (ace cars) These days I'm busier working on my VW' bus but if I saw an old Estelle going cheap somewhere I'd be quite interested in one for a little hill climbing etc.
