Thumbs up Proposing a small gathering at Malt Shovel Saturday 29th Oct

CV7 7HL (for all you map finding people) Basically just East of Brum, on a major intersection of two trunk roads/dual carriageways.

Malt Shovel pub - Was the site of my first ever Briskoda mini-meet (although it was pretty damn busy) I'm up in the Midlands again so proposing doing the usual thing of meeting at the Malt Shovel around 11am for a leisurely drive down to that pub in that village "dead centre of England" and having a spot of grub.

Not sure if two weeks is enough notice, and not even sure if we need to book places at the pub or not? (maybe warn them of numbes approaching... ) I think our FunkyJutel used to organise the grub before. Reckon we're safe just to arrive at the pub?

Anyone up for it? I am.

Sorry - Its only because I'm up that way on a long weekend then. Anyway, we met at TSR recently - I don't think you'll have got over the shock by the 29th.

Yeah - we meet at the Malt Shovel thanks to the big car park, then we bugger off from there and head down the dual carriageway to the Meridian place - Much nicer pub there, with good grub and feels very homely in the winter.

Just looked up on previous thread - Its the Bulls Head in meriden. Not sure if I have to book it up or not?

LOL. This isn't coinciding with a TVR meet is it, J? Last time I was there (with Dr Z, bryand and a few others) there were a load of TVRs in the car park. That was the day I did some test drives around and realised the ebc pads on my brembos were s-h-one-t

I have a big night out in London the night before, but assuming that I can still move, I'll be there...

Are you guys going to stay around for a while? Last time, we hung around until 4ish.
