Smile Staffordshire meet

Hi everyone, I've been looking at getting along to a couple of meets but they all seem to be 70+ miles one way from me, not a bad trip at a weekend but on a night bit far.

I up for arranging a meet some where with the county of Staffordshire one night in the week if people are up for it?

For those of you that are unsure where Staffordshire is it goes from Congelton in the North down to Cannock on the South end & then from Crewe in the West out to nearly Derby in the East so we have a lot of room to play with.

If people are interested then please post & I will sort something.

Ian

Yeah, my initial thoughts where Stafford way as its easy to get to both on & off the motorway & there's some nice pubs around that way.

Do you know any nice pubs Rugeley way that are easy to get to? Been through it a few times but never really stopped there.

Depending on location I was thinking something like a 7pm meet up as that gives people time to get home from work etc, if more people want it earlier or later then we can always move it about.

What about South Derbyshire?

I know of a perfect pub with a good sized beer garden in Repton

Ok people as we appear to have a few more poeple interested I'm going to set an inital date of the 22nd May. I know it seems a while off but it does give people time to try & make it.

It looks like its going to be in the south of the county some where around Rugeley/Lichfield/Burton-upon-Trent at around 7pm to meet up few drinks etc etc. We will fix a venure a bit closer to the date though.

If anyone has any strong objections to the above let me know & we can move it around, also if anyone has any ideas on a good pub we can meet at again let me know.

Thanks to Richierich32 for the surgesstion of Repton, its the winning venue at the min.

Good for the environment but kind of defeats the object of a car meet , although I have been known to be miserable before now.
