Default Anyone interested in trying motorsport marshaling ?

Im the founder member of a marshaling group, we regularly attend events from rallying to circuit racing and all the way back to grass root club events.

Feel free to take a look at my site and get in touch if you are interested. My next event is the Sunseeker Rally in Poole, when I will be out to play in the Octy II tdi Sport.(Im planning to partx it against a new Scout this year so I can get stuck into the forest rally stages)

Cheers

Simon.

Sorry to hijack this thread but my local motor club is running the Riponian Stages Rally on the 10th of February and are in need of Marshals to assist in running the event. If any one is interested in helping could they contact our chief marshall Adam Yarrington at adamyarrington@hotmail.com or phone 07799 756640. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Simon T

When i marshal, i hate the have a go hero ones that thrash about after the stage has been opened for public use again.

In the mean time im a fully qualified grade 1 marshal, and i am a member of my local motor club, and my dad was the second MSA Marshal Of the Year...swit swoo!

Going autograssing this season (just finishing off the car) so i wont have time for marshalling really...but if your considering it....do it.

Thing is though mate take the Rally GB...you have to pay to get into forests now, which i think is crap, as i have never been since this rule came in..

If you marshal....you save money sometimes as you dont have to pay to get in...

Thats only an example as there are a lot of single venue rallies that do allow you to get close but not as close as when your marshalling...

Worth thinking about...
