With cheap flights and a tent, a weekends racing abroad is fairly cheap these days. A crowd of us went to WSBK at Monza a few years back, and then the following year we went to Mugello for the MotoGP.......both events were great and the Italians cetainly make a party out of the race weekends.........and of course it's nice and warm. If you get the chance, go do it, it's good fun and great racing. Lance | |

| Re: Bsb/wsbk Disappointed about BSB - bloody English spring weather!!  WSBK wasn't that bad. Checa was really fast on the last 5 or 6 laps & it was a "do or die" move on the last corner. 2nd race was a bit better & Haga derserved the win. Something went wrong with Checa's bike mid race but seemed to pick up again.??????

I agree on the Checa comment, think it boils down to him being in his home Country and REALLY REALLY WANTING to win!! You could tell by how far back he was that he was NEVER going to make the turn! Ian
