Well im gonna stand up for the randy old git.This was obviously a set-up, for what reason he was targeted i don't know, it may well be innapropriate but he was not hurting anyone or doing anything illegal.
Just consider what deviousness some of our dismal MPs get up too, and were paying their wages.64k basic plus an average £136k 'expenses', these are the people we should be bothered about not this Viagra fuelled old fool.

And yet, when the MP's get outed/exposed etc, there's a massive uproar and they find themselves out of favour fairly quickly, if not out of power.........why should there be any exception for Max?

WHile it may not have been 'illegal'. society as a whole takes a fairly dim view of re-enactments of anything associated with the Nazi era. It also generally has no time for fascist/nazi style groups.
The fact is, his personal conduct may very well be his personal business. But now it's out in the open, and all he's shouted about is the invasion of privacy.....not that he didn't indeed engage in such activities.

As for his contention that it has no Nazi connotations........erm.....german military outifts of the period, if the reports and footage is to be believed............riiiiight, that's not got any link whatsoever......

It's all about perceptions and reputation. His reputation was already looking more than a little tarnished after the tyre debacle at indianapolis and then the Ferrari/McLaren/Renault-gate shennanigans where equal punishment didn't appear to have been handed out..........now he's found doing this.....

As i said, if a politician was caught doing this sort of thing, and many have, it's bye-bye. Given the growing voice from FIA-affiliated groups condemning it and calling for him to step-down, I don't see how he can realistically stay without dragging F1 into even further ridicule. I'm sure that Bernie won't allow it to damage his financial golden goose......
