Re: Blackpool illuminations

It's only a mirrorball, if you're expecting a plasma ball you'll be disappointed lol!

You're coming during the day then? I will try my best to round you up and help you about if I'm around. What day will it be? lol

Re: Blackpool illuminations

Shifty's fine new Fish and Chip Emporium might be open by the 4th Nov. I think he was originally hoping for mid-October but he mentioned its been delayed a bit.
I'm told his food isn't bad so worth popping just down the road to Lytham if he's up and running (and open on a Sunday?)

We visited a chip shop nr to Coral Island , only thing i can remember it was opposite Mcdonalds on the corner and it had a take-a-way with a seated area to the back and as you look out the window there was a set of steps going upto the Palace nightclub . . .

I will be flying to USA on 4th Nov for a business trip, so if that is the confirmed date unfortunately not.

Once you get the date confirmed it might be worth adding a link in the N/W meets section as I'm sure some of the other "locals" might want to join you.

Think we'll be heading over later than that, so we'll meet you lot there. I don't fancy being there from that early on if the fireworks are going to be in the evening.
