Was thinking of a road-based meet, but this did cross my mind...

Would need some decent numbers before contacting any track re discounts...

I know a.n. other forum did it last year and got a discount for 15+ cars....

Well I'm working on WhoNeedsQuattro atm... and there's a colleague who's just bought a Celica VVTi 190 who would probably come unless anyone objected...

Maybe there's a disused airfield somewhere we can 'borrow' for a day

Come on guys. There must be more than 8 of us in the North East!! Has Panrix had his sump fixed yet and what about Keith and the elusive silver RS??

At this rate we'll need to put an invite out to Cleveland Plod and see whether any of the traffic boys fancy joining in

I think Mrs Panrix has put her foot down, and as for Keith he prefers to be a passenger after we scared the life out of him on the NW run a while back. Poor boy has a standard car and couldn't keep up you know

North East Meet ?

Seems interesting for a Octavia Virgin !!!

Trouble is its <only> a Diesel 110 so not sure if i can keep up with you boys in the VRs /Fabia VRs !!!

Might have to fetch my other car which would defeat the object of a skoda meet .

and i would have to fill up half way around the route

Let me know when and i might venture out

Guys,

When, where and how is all to be decided depending on numbers. I hope the agenda will be something along the lines of:

- Meet up at a mutually convenient location
- Go for a little drive out somewhere
- Finish off at a watering hole for refreshments (maybe some pub grub)
- All disappear off after a jolly good time into the sunset

Manguish / Greenwagon, I'll add you both to the list if that's ok. So, currently:

1. Jimmy - Near Durham
2. Darkseid
3. Ventmore (Neil) - Middlesbrough
4. vRS-Ric - North Tyneside
5. Jon TDI - Guisborough
6. pbirkett (Paul) - Chester-le-Street, Co Durham
7. WRCSixtyThree - Easington Lane
8. CLW (and chopper)
9. Manguish
10. Greenwagon

Note: The meet is definately NOT just for vRS drivers but is open to all Skoda models. This isn't a strictly enforced 'rule' so if you want to bring something else then that's fine. I might even give the little Pug a run out

A decent turnout is the main aim and obviously the more Skodas the better for photo opportunities.

We could do with some more participants so come on, don't be shy and stick your name down.....
