Default September meet anyone?

Hello,

Having recently taken the plunge and purchased a Skoda (Octavia vRS in Black Magic with 18" OZ 5 spokes) I was wondering if any other fellow Skoda owners fancied meeting up in September? Any suggestions with regard to location or activities (BBQ, karting etc) welcome.

Cheers,

Darren

How about an activity day... something like paintballing? 10th/11th September or 18th or 24th are only days I can do.

I'll VAG-COM your car at the same time for you if you like Darren

Off the wall plan...

How about a Saturday, at Diggerland?

Seriously, don't laugh. I went last year as a birthday treat and it is ACE fun. Really a damn good laugh, and it's great fun acting like a kid. It's also not crazy-expensive

Dad, can I go on the big one? Please Dad. Please!

All I'm trying to avoid is a hanging around in car park comparing shiny engine bay kind of meets. If I wanted that I'd go and hang around Team Valley Halfrauds.

I'll convoy to Diggerland with anyone who wants it if we decide to go down that route.

Basically, my comment on the clean engine bay meet was based around the question:

What are we actually meeting FOR? As far as I'm concerned, it's a good way to meet new people who share similar interests, and maybe do something for a laugh with them. If we all just meet up and compare tyres or something, how sad does that make us? It'd be like women comparing handbags.

There is a Kart track in Middlesborough and isnt there one further up the coast,we could have a blast and compare excuses why we were not faster.....I will get mine in first,"With my kart dragging 17st round, the power to weight ratio is crap"

If there's enough of us to make it a sensible price, I'm in. If it's going to be the usual £20 for 15 minutes deal it's just way too expensive. That's half a tank of petrol
