at the moment yes.... he says he wants more prior notice if we get up to 25 cars.... so up to 25 cars is deffo safe......

we're up to 20 cars so far really looking forward to it now.....

Stuff the drive down on saturday, we're going to come on friday night say about sevenish to eightish if that is ok, never done camping before but will be a laugh as we try to pitch up a tent!

I camped once when 12. A guide camp. Yes pitching the tent will be fun. I can see it crashing down in the night. But we may me good campers. Not sure how these morden tents work as we used old opens. Will be interesting.

Get yourself to Asda - they've got pop-up tents for £20. We just bought one for the HCs.

Still to buy a tent yet, but swmbo's sister has camping gear so we might just borrow that to get a feel for camping and save some cash lol.

Dunno if we be up on the friday night yet or just the sat/sun it all depends when i get my holiday requests accepted at work.

there are no time restrictions, you can all turn up whenever you want

and it is fun...... even if you haven't camped before! (as long as it doesn't rain! lol.... its currently sunny and 26 celcius up here at the moment! going out BBQ after the GP

and those pop up tents are cool! nearly bought one for our HC... but she has her own room in our new huge tent now

and rememeber, it doesn't really matter how many tents you wanna bring, as you are being chrged per person, not per tent

got friday and the monday off after they lost my holiday form!! but got to wait till swmbo to finish work at 4pm on the friday according to the AA site i will have a 5 hour 260 mile drive, so im gonna have to borrow swmbo's sisters tent soon to get some practice in and also find what we can borrow (and what i will still need to buy)!!

One more thing any shell garages near to the camp site?

Not sure if there is a Shell garage in Keswick, but there's on in Penrith at Jct 40 of the M6. Probably the fastest way to Keswick.

cheers, whats the price like there for vpower unleaded?

Hmmm there's a question, since I run on diesel. In Carlisle Shell diesel is about 119/120. So diesel Vpower is about 128 IIRC. Maybe Vpower petrol is about 120. I'll check tomorrow on the way back from work.
