Camping trip to the lakes next summer?

2) Gilly, Wibble & 2 HC's.
3) Loz
4) apd007 :- interested subject to dates etc.
5) Mr Grumpy ( subject to Loz bringing a towel, and Gilly bringing his drinking head.)
6) smog monster (subject to dates)
7) Philje123 (can make the suggested date of 28th, or any date from 22nd for two weeks, and also what does "HC" mean?!)
8) AwesomeSarah and Mark no HC (yet anyway)
9) PPat + t'wife + sprog (disclaimers apply - see terms and conditions)
10) Vix (if I can get annual leave)
11) Mater, SWMBO & Dog (date dependant)

Can we arrange amusing outdoor pursuits to partake in like our raft building? Maybe we can step up to canoeing, abseiling or pony trekking??

I dont see why not either... how about a combined run... split into 2 teams... abseil down mountain hill thing... then build a raft and beat other team to other side of lake! lol Joking... but does sound fun doesn't it.

We've got plenty of time to arrange such frivolities!!

p.s - can we have somewhere that has an indoor alternative for sleeping like at burrs?? Cos I'm not good at sleeping in tents!

I need an airbed and 6 quilts!! lol

oh....and I don't have a tent!

We usually take our airbed and use that in out tent with a quilt or a sleeping bag each... its normally pretty cosy.

Tents are pretty cheap and youve got some time to buy one! hehe

We'll be bringing our pop-up gazebo which should make a good centre piece in the middle of all our tents.

If not there may be a bnb near by... lol
