Cat & Fiddle Meet VI - Sunday 25th Feb

Okey dokey, the February meet is now in progress! I've given a fair bit of time so hopefully people will be able to make this one.

I know they're usually Saturdays but our favourite eating venue is only open on Sundays, unless we get 20+ people, and in the light of the last meet being somewhat "quiet"

I shall err on the side of safety!

The meet will be at 11:00AM at the Cat & Fiddle pub, on Sunday 25th February 2007, situated between Macclesfield and Buxton on the A537. I shall get a multimap reference up soon if anyone needs one.

The plan will be the usual gather for coffee and chat at 11:30ish, a short brisk drive down to the eating venue, where we will enjoy lunch and more chat! Then an entertaining driving route across the Peak District, taking in several points of interest and finishing at the Cat & Fiddle again late afternoon, where coffee and reflection on the day can be enjoyed.

And all cars are welcome, not just Skodas and Seats.

Please note how many of you will be there for the lunch so I know how many to book for!

Would love to get along and say 'HI' as i've never been able to make a meet yet!! All I have to do is sort out a babysitter for the little lad and i'll be there, i'm sure one of the grandparents will be happy to help out!

Must admit Oliver enjoys a run-out in the car as much as I do

It normally finishes around about 5pm, back at the cat and fiddle.

Anyway, why is the meet delayed, im not complaining, but it was the begining of Feb, as it was the weekend my wife gave birth last year. I know this, beacuase I left her lay in hospital, so i could come to the meet.

Rob, are we putting on how many for eating, or are we not bothering, and are we at the usual place for food???

This time, can a few people have the route a couple of days before, as last time a few of us got lost, and i took them back the way I knew, and we added about 30ish m,iles onto our journey.
